R.P: Conventional wisdom is that profit decline in the SEMI's is closely linked to their sales revenue shortfalls. When revenues drop, their profits drop. In addition, their margins also erode as Inventory pile ups cause price reductions. The FABS in the Far -East have already announced they dont see a pick up till 2002.

In view of that , I believe the parameters I suggested are reasonable. They have also worked in previous bear markets.

Regarding overvaluation, look at finance.yahoo.com and not how ALTR is still way above the NDX . This divergence shows the overvaluation.
