Hi, techth. First an SI favor: it works better to respond to a particular poster by clicking "Respond" on the message from the poster to which you want to respond, not the general "post message" label, which presumably goes to grogger's in-box.

Looks like DELL was fertile ground for you call-writers who caught the various bounces.

DELL was way too hard for me to trade today - For PC stocks I stuck to shorting GTW which was a quick one-way ride down. Easy money on that one so far.

GE is in the category of "too hard" because it is mainly financial services, but not as regulated in its reporting as banks. So there's lot of reserve accounting that can be fooled around with to make the numbers. I think your fundamental premise is sound, but suspect that GE can outlast almost any company on earth in terms of hitting its eps numbers. So many moving parts.

I always pick "easy" over "hard" in trading.
