Over the long-haul, you'd have done better buying the DOLCE&GABANNA's. -g

Gold will get whacked again, I can just feel it. -g The bear has drawn me to the corners of quirk, but I am thankful I was never drawn in by ole yeller. This is time-consuming enough, and profitable enough, that one can ignore gold and be better for it.

What would one miss by not being *significantly* exposed to gold here? Let's see -- dozens of whacky gold-bug posts a week and one would also miss the chance of catching the bottom. It's as if perfectly good traders think that there would be no chance to jump into the middle of the move. Gold won't go straight up. Nothing does. What do the goldies think will happen? -- gold will be lock-limit up for 5 days in a row? Maybe, but I'll guarantee you that will not happen at the start of the move -- it'll be in the middle.

In the meantime, one can not care gold and be better off on average.
