Yeah, it's true we gain a lot from the best and the brightest around the world. But, with a 10 trillion dollar economy, we could whether the economic storm of a break in relations much better then they could.

I'm torn on the issue of so many visa's being given to foreigners in the high-tech area. And often wonder if it's being done simply to keep wages down in areas like Silicon Valley.

The recently announced layoff's in many high tech businesses undoubtedly will re-open the debate and sensitivity toward this issue.
