Actually, they already "dumped" their fiberoptics arm... it's now trading as AGRA (I should have mentioned that).

IMO, networking stocks are about the worst possible place you can be. We now have too much broadband due to a fanatical build out during the IPO/Internet boom. We first need tons of cheap, last mile solutions w/ ultra-high broadband before any backbone network expansion will increases as it has in the past. We're a long way from that... I don't even have DSL in this area for goodness sake... and DSL is too slow to support such things as video on demand, VoIP, etc... and there fore it is too slow to support a continued, massively-high-growth broadband expansion. JMO, but I would much rather be in the semi sector.
