...Which many billions of dollars in bonds have been sold to finance. Not to mention the billions poured into satellites eg Globalstar. Not to mention the billions spent on overpriced wireless spectrum and the billions more spent on wireless buildouts. And then there are the equipment makers eg LU, MOT Edit : And I forgot PCG!

What if all those bonds go bad? Who holds them? What are the economic consequnces of such a huge volume of bad debt?

Also, the type of issue which hit MOT today might be an additional worry for tech investors going forward.
