Hi Tom, I'd think it would be obvious to the companies' CEO's that the CFO's interests have to be aligned with the long-term interests of the company. I guess case studies in business schools for the next 20 years will be looking at this time period and showing students how NOT to provide incentives to senior management (see John Roth). Looking more like a house of cards with every passing day... Well I guess someone's going to clean up later and it won't be the banks! Who's got actual cash anyway? Taxpayers? I hear the Japanese government has some interesting approaches to "solving" these kinds of problems. Regards, Rob
