There is a message on the STEN thread from Malko's wife, that Malko was in a car accident and that is why he has not posted. She said he is fine and will post when he can.

Gentlemen, Malko had a car accident just before Christmas. He is fine now.
However, he is not able to post on SI right now.
But I repeat, do not worry, Malko is fine and will be back soon !!
