There some extremly hard working Native californian's, so I dont want to generalize, However when you live somewhere like NYC or BOSTOn, DC PHILA etc the lifestyle is tougher. Nothing is made simple or easy. Try going to the DMV or getting a Plummer. The cold winters also support work ethics cause you cant do a whole lot of Golfing when its 30 degrees out. So people get absorbed in their work. I lived If Florida for 1 year I was so bored I could shoot myself. If it were 78 everyday I wouldnt work half as hard as i do id be out doing other things. I am a quintesetial workaholic easterner-g-
