TM, if I am not mistaken Bulkowski used data from five years of this past bull market (94-99) therefore H&S patterns, as an example, may have had a lower percentage of successes then they would have in the latter half of 2000 and the first few months of this year. My thinking is that when more ascending triangles and IH&S etc. start to break out to the upside the market, in general, may be becoming more bullish. A follow up book during the bear years would be interesting and complete the picture.
