Selling Power Cominco has stated that it can shut down the mill,pay its employees, sell the power and make more money than by running the mill. But that will only work if the Americans need the power or some oddball law does not appear that regulates the prices. If it is hot and the air conditioners are running then there will be a big power demand. If the weather is cool the demand for power could drop dramaticaly. The first quarter financials will be of interest. The dropping demand for copper and will coal sales climb or fall ? I just got the financials out of the mail box this morning. One of the better designed yearly reports IMHO. Regards ralfph You may be right about the coal. Once ballard gets the bugs out , their stationary engines will be the way to go. But that may be years away yet.Teks sales of coal have been on the increase over the last few years which I found kind of interesting
