J. U.S. Data Port sounds impressive. In regard to energy, I would love to see a breakthrough in technology where individuals and companies could generate their own electricity for cheaper than they can buy it off the grid. Someone was telling me about a company in Chatsworth, I believe it's called, something like, "SPINNING FLYWHEEL", that supposedly has a product that is a large spinning flywheel in a vacuum tight housing, and once you crank up the flywheel to high RPMs, it continues to run on solar power, and generates enough electricity to power a refrigerator, a few lights, a VCR and TV. I wonder what it costs? It can't be that expensive.
Another interesting technology I read about, was one used or being proposed in Arizona, using large magnifying glasses to focus the suns rays on pipes filled with synthetic oil, and when pumped through water filled containers, produces steam and drives a generator. They need some small versions for the home. I hope this energy crisis really drives some smart people to come up with new innovative products that reach the market.
