We are copied by even our remaining enemies, and have been since the Reagan era. Some of our friends have begun to even outdo us in our own innovations. Take a look at Ireland's tax system and their economic growth. They were mired in European socialism before Reagan showed them the way. Watch for the rest of Europe to gradually follow. And yes, there is hope for China. The China of 2020 will be ashamed of Mao and communism. Only then will we consider them civilized. In the meantime it will be necessary to keep our powder dry. The old, obsolete power structure may just decide not to go quietly. And they will certainly start believing that Americans are fools if they read enough of your posts on SI...
