These figures are worthless. Reason: Pre-paid and churn.

I was going to back it up with a piece that was just a few hours ago in the Financial Times web page. I went back there: IT HAS BEEN REMOVED!!!

Never mind. Just for example:
My wife is re-paid subscriber of Czech one Czech and one Brazilian operator. She use it very seldom. Only when she's in Brazil

She was before subscriber also pre-paid of one Swedish operator.

Next tiem you come to Europe, buy a mobile and a prepaid form any operator and anypone can call you anywhere in Europe. (For you to call is prohibitively expensive.)

Churn is a stone in every mobie operator's shoe. You can change your provider as you change your underwear. This is not fixed line business.
