Amy, You are being totally irrational. When I interviewed at Intel, they tried to justify their low base salary with the fact that Intel stock options have made all their long time employees quite wealthy. I didn't buy that argument as making sense out into the future, and I was correct in doing so. Intel's salary/stock structure appears unattractive to many bright engineers who wish to hang around for a few years and try to become wealthy. That is a typical Silicon Valley mode of operation. What is so hard to understand about that? wrt stocks. I quit trading almost 12 months ago. I did not unload my employee stock options, 401K or some AMD calls which had already become almost worthless. If you consider that to be a lie, than I feel very sorry for you. Whatever is bothering you has nothing to do with me. I'm sure it is very tough trying to build a startup in the current market conditions. Why haven't you answered my question about your career choices? Actions speak louder than words. Scumbria The fact that you can prove a painting is beautiful is a senseless argument to make with someone who perceives the painting to be ugly.
