Geoff,

This has nothing to do with planes crashing into each other. There are much bigger issues here than which pilot was right or wrong.

Bush Sr. understood this in 1989 at Tiananmen Square. The Chinese did something totally unacceptable to the rest of the world, yet time marched on and China moved steadily towards capitalism. Daddy Bush did not panic and do something stupid, and thank God he didn't.

The "President" should bring the troops home, and then work out his strategy from a position of strength. He will gain credibility if he does that. His current path is mindless. No one outside the US and China cares which pilot is at fault.
