Bush is doing fine. His numbers continue to improve

Oh really? From www.gallup.com:

"Bush Approval Rating Now At 53%

Bush’s job approval rating is now at 53%, lower than the average for most presidents since World War II at this point in the first year of their first terms. Only Bill Clinton had a similarly low rating -- 52% -- in late March of 1993. Bush’s father’s job approval rating was 58% in early April of 1989. The highest job approval rating after about two months in office belonged to President John F. Kennedy, who had a 78% rating in an early April 1961 Gallup poll.

President Bush began his administration this year with an initial reading of 57%, and his job approval went up to the low 60s in mid-February and early March. By mid-March, it had fallen back to 58% and registered at 53% in the most recent Gallup poll, conducted March 26-28,

Twenty-nine percent of Americans now say they disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job, while 18% say they have no opinion."
