hdl, this release was amzn's sales pitch to the barefoot, crayon carrying people. what they didn't mention was the interest on the debt that they have to pay, ie, incl in the profit number - not that pro forma crap. interest money is real and must be paid. i think bezos now sees what many saw 2-3 years ago and he's looking to pump amzn up and sell, sell, sell until the cows come home - and he wants a better price than $8. look for the bottom line sec number to be MUCH worse. bezos relies on people that can't read sec documents.
