Uncle Frank, I believe the Nz gained 145 on Thursday and lost a lot less on Friday. If the bear market continues, we should lose the entire gains from Friday. Why are people not worried about MOT's disaster that everyone expects. It will be the first clue to earnings. My bullish case that I am feeling more and more comfortable with is supported by what has happened in large mutual funds like Janus and Fidelity..and the increasing short interest. What if these funds like Janus that have high levels of cash for redemption possibilities--do not realize the cash outs to nearly the levels they planned for? I believe we have seen that in the past where funds raised cash only to realize the individuals are not bailing out to the degree they expected...in a sense the funds were just taking a more conservative approach. When they start buying it may be broad based and that is why it is a good idea to be diversified among various sectors with a good emphasis on tech, IMHO.---at least in the short term. Just imagine the amount of selling they must have done in the past months to raise the cash. Janus Fund is still down big even with such large cash levels--about 20% as of end of February. I got progressively more bullish on tech as the day went on. The close is still the key to me and that will be what tells me if we are heading into a big bounce or bull market in the Naz. For now waiting for the confirmation. It must all be happening since my name change from T2 to NewVision was requested a while ago but only got changed today. but your new handle makes you sound like one of Eye Doc's patients That was my problem in predicting this market... A lack of visibility. I can see clearly now.<g>
