We make educated, "FAITH" decisions that effect our lives every day. Getting on a plane, eating at a restaurant, stepping on the brakes.

That's called probability, not faith. Faith is when you believe something you have no reason to believe. Now if you were to say that you believe because there's less risk in believing than in not believing and that you just don't want to take the chance that St. Peter will be waiting for you on the other side, that I could relate to. When you argue about guards and bodies and the accuracy of old books, it sounds like you're trying to establish probability, which is different from faith.
