BWAC - it is common language for margin accounts that shares can be loaned. in fact, anyone who has a margin account has agreed that his/her shares can be "loaned" that is how shares are shorted. they have to be "borrowed" from eligible accounts. sounds like this mutual fund operates on margin and therefore is required to makes its shares available for shorting by others. doesn't really mean much, other than that they are operating with margin. larry
