Sun Hits Low as Analyst Cites Bug Woes By TSC Staff 4/9/01 3:23 PM ET Network computer maker Sun Microsystems (SUNW:Nasdaq - news) was down 7% in late trading after hitting a 52-week low of 12.85. Morgan Stanley Dean Witter reiterated its neutral rating after Sun last week acknowledged a bug in its new UltaSPARC III chip and said it would fix the problem in its next round of production. Morgan Stanley said the uncertainty over the timing of the fix is likely to put pressure on the stock in the near-term. thestreet.com
