News today from NT is that the cash part of the deal will be an investment into the new ANTC to develop new higher speed cable modem. We have proposed that as part of ANTC business direction. The rest of the plan is to do frequency division multiple access(TDMA) on DWDM in cable modems. This will enable many more dedicated interactive channels for broadcasting in cable, and may lower cost of operations. So far so good. DWDM systems do not have to conform in the convergence technology for a few more years until 3G in wireless is deployed. Good luck on your investment here.
