you can all see what this was desinded for..to squeeze a few more pennies from the poor retail traders unaware of it's intention

ROFL! "Poor"? Decimalization was initiated to make involvement in the equity markets more intuitive, and therefore easier to participate in, for retail market participants.

And if the regulators had nixed the plan, it would have been a conspiracy against the retail folks, right? :)
