We lived on a lake in Baton Rouge, and had "almost" pet ducks for the neighborhood.

One time a friend came over, and we had some bread to feed the ducks so I went outside and sent my call "quack quack quack" and they came running...eer swimming.

My friend couldn't believe it. He said, "You mean I sit in a blind all day waiting for a duck to fly over, and all you have to do is quack?"
