Trowbridge Charged with Kickbacks by: jfkthewest (53/M) 04/09/01 07:33 pm EDT Msg: 9189 of 9191 If you want to learn something about Keith Trowbridges history with two other companies, Transworld Health and Medical Association of America, should listen to the April 3, 2001, webcast. For some reason it there isn't a link to it on the PLMD website. A questioner asked if Transworld Health paid $10,000,000 to settle a kickback case and Trowbridge was charged in the case. Trowbridge admits that he was the President of the U.S. operating division for Transworld. Trowbridge said that the "scheme" involved fee-4-services and that when he "got there", fee-4-services was out there, a lot of people were doing it, he was charged with cleaning it up when he got there, because it was deemed inappropriate as a result of news stories. The board of directors of the other company, founded by Trowbridge, filed for bankruptcy against his recommendation. These are my rough notes. They may have some errors and they are not verbatim. Listen to the webcast yourself. I know nothing but what was said in the webcast, and part of it is difficult to hear, such as the name of the kickback suit.
