Bios could come under some pressure early on with MDCC's surprising downside earning's performance: (held onto HGSI short and PDLI...bios rally two days in a row ?? ) Molecular Devices (MDCC) 49.99: After the close, designer of bio-analytical measurement systems reported Q1 earnings of $0.10 a share, half the First Call mean. Company also warned that Q2 net would post between $0.16-$0.18 (mean $0.27); believes a number of pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers may have delayed or postponed purchasing decisions as a result of the current economic uncertainty... Stock plunged 31% in after hours trading.
