I wonder what Merill Lynchs ratings on SCOP, VNTV, DAVX are.

VERS still sells at a discount compared to these stocks, but
the problems with VERS might be

#1 Less market share (single digit quarterly revenues)
#2 Relatively small sequential quarterly growth in revs especially at
this stage their percentage growth should be high. They should
be creaming estimates not just meeting them.
#3 Lockout period ending soon ?
#4 Apprehensive about next quarter. No major contracts
announced in May and till date in June.
Remember, the company gets a major contract
of 3.6 mil from Lucent in the last 2 weeks of the April quarter
and yet reports revs of just 8.9 mil. ( though I am not sure
how much of this contract was accounted for already. )

I couldn't get on to the conference call, probably ML heard
something which the general public dint. we will find out.
Dangeous stock to own, it doesnt jump up so much as it suddenly
falls down. I got in at 13, I was hoping it would hit 13 today,
instead its down to 11, I agree with you, it could got to 6-7,
I guess I will have to take a loss and get out soon. Ouch !!!
