Of course, you are right. However, the choices for original predictions are limited to up, down and sideways. I have reaffirmed my conviction that no one can predict. Gazzarelli was on target with biotechs and has done nothing since. One of my friends was on the American Mathematical Association's investment advisory committee and their study indicated that there was no way to beat the indices. When I pointed out the superior performance of Magellan Fund over 10 yrs., he laughed and responded that, randomly, someone had to be on top.

Re: China. Should we apply the same political standard to Saudi Arabia that some want to China? Should we tell them to stick their oil up their....As bad as China is, they look like a civil liberty paradise next to the Saudi's.
