the demise of the CLEC's is a two edge sword. The CLEC's were pushing the regional teleco's to open and was speeding the push for xDSL, the CLEC's have lost the war, so we lose not only high speed but productivity is reduced at the regional teleco's. Not to mention stifling the concept we call the Internet to boot.

Be wants Broadband for the Masses in the budget.
