This market the last few days has me beginning to believe that indiscrininate buying is not dead, and the needed washout has not occured. We all know about the "money on the sidelines" chomping at the bit to " find the bottom". If all the excesses of the latter stages of the bull market aren't purged, we could see an uptrend marked by another painful retraction, a double bottom. i would rather see a return to sanity and a more predictable economy and market where great companies like Applied would thrive, and speculation a much smaller percentage of the mix.
