Since you are the thread master, I'll direct this question to you, Ilmarinen.

Any news or thoughts on the problems Nokia has had with the defective phones sold to Verizon? From the bits and pieces I can gather, it appears that Nokia didn't make sure that interoperability between CDMAOne and CDMA2000 networks was achieved. Since it has not been a problem for other handset manufacturers, it seems that the problem lies with Nokia as a result of failing to test the handsets in the real world before shipping.

This could be a major financial setback for Nokia since it appears that some half million sets sold to Verizon may be affected.

The discussion boards have been strangely silent concerning this issue.
