any MM observations on NAS decimalization?

Decimal pricing could cause commissions to double or triple, if one needs to accumulate a trade position at several different penny increments and pay a commission at each price. Some brokerages like Cybercorp already allow you to assemble a position over a 5-minute window as one ticket, but most don't.

So I'm wondering how traders in general are handling this and what side-effects it could have, besides increasing brokerage revenues. One effect might be that intraday
volatility would decrease, but so far we haven't seen that... thankfully :-)
