SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Dow Jones)--EarthShell Corp. (ERTH) signed an
agreement with DuPont Co.'s (DD) DuPont Polyester unit to jointly develop and
market additional forms of biodegradable food packaging.

In a press release Tuesday, EarthShell said it will work on sandwich wraps
and protective coatings for biodegradable disposable food service packaging
such as cups, plates and hinged-lid containers.

EarthShell will combine its desposable products with DuPont's Biomax
hydrobiodegradable polyester coatings/films and technology.

The companies expect to deliver their new products to market by the Fall.

EarthShell's packaging products, which biodegrade in marine and composting
environments, are made using technology that combines inorganics, such as
limestone, with organics such as renewable starch.
