I'm pretty itchy too, but I'm also worried about a January-type bear rally. I think the safest thing to do, is wait until we get that bear rally. Hard to say when. It could have started yesterday. Maybe we won't get it for months. But, shorts will be a lot safer when the SOX is up 30-50% off its lows (whatever those lows are).

The reasons we could go up now, are the same reasons used for the January rally. Hope springs eternal.
