Sorry, Mama, still at a loss about "me and my friends." On this point you are way off base.
With respect where my "heart" is, you have only the liberty to peruse my posts in your database. I think a few years of comments posted here should give you the right perspective of where I am coming from. I think if you expended the effort, if you care to, you would be less skeptical.
You also seem to prone to incite rather than quell the division here by your apparent focus on "the longs" vs. "the shorts." If you would only take the time to review the annals of this thread, and as well as my record, you will find that the lion's share of the subject covered is not "long v. short" but rather substantive, related to technology, strategy and the like. So, please, do not make a "Hatfield and McCoy" issue of this; its not. Its about an open forum of discussion where both positive and negative views of a stock can be civilly discussed, both on a fundamental basis as well as a technical basis, but also with an effort to leave the attitude off the board. I think the most, but not all, of my posts here on SI over the years, have lived up to this ideal, and conversely, I have found most of the discussions here that I have engaged in, to be in a similar vein, which is why I enjoyED this community . . . until recently.
Lastly, Barb, if you are "sick and tired" of, as you put it, "you and your friends ganging up and acting holier than thou while being much worse than what you supposedly decry," I strongly suggest you go back and do your homework, and do it real good, before you make totally baseless accusations about some imaginary friends you think I have, and the illusory belief of such "friends ganging up" on some poor, self-defenseless victim here. My only reaction to this common theme you seem bent on portraying upon me is . . . Hello? What planet are you on? Certainly not this one. If you continue to assert that I maintain some "gang presence" here to ponder the victimized short (LOL), I can only politely ask you to go back and provide some substance to what appears to be nothing but wind. |
