On the surface this may not look good, but I certainly prefer this type of financing over going through a hedge fund and being at their mercy like they did in the past. (NASDAQ:WAVC) on Tuesday filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to sell, from time to time, up to $13.8 million in common stock. The Toronto-based firm plans to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including capital spending and working capital, it said in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Shares of the wireless Internet access product maker closed 5 cents higher at $1.31 on Nasdaq. They have a 52-week high of $10.25 and a low of $1.03.
