WaterChef Announces Multimillion Dollar Order For Jordan
Jump to first matched term GLEN HEAD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 2001--David A. Conway, President/CEO announced today that the Company has received a an order for 100 units of its Pure Safe Water Station from I. Salman Import and Export Trading Est. of Amman, Jordan.
The Company expects to commence shipping no later than June 1st and will ship all units by mid-October. The Company expects to realize over $1,000,000 in revenues from this order in the Company's second quarter, ending June 30, 2001. I. Salman will utilize the PureSafe to satisfy the requirements of a contract to provide high quality drinking water in Jordan and elsewhere in the Middle East.
WaterChef's PureSafe Water Station can make any water safe for drinking purposes by processing bad water through its patented filtration system. The PureSafe can make 5,000 to 10,000 gallons of potable water daily. The PureSafe Water Station weighs approximately 1,200 lbs. and is contained in its own housing -- four foot by eight foot by six and a half feet high (4'x8'x6.5') and is transportable by truck or helicopter. The unit uses either available electricity or its own self-contained generator. Key features of the PureSafe Water System are its low initial cost, ease of operation and low maintenance cost. The unit produces drinking water for as little as 1 1/2 cents per gallon.
