You're right, there are posters who understand the technology in much more detail than I do, and I have learned from them. And you are also right, that I am being deliberately provocative.

12 months ago, there were many, many threads on SI that are like this thread still is. That is, they were "owned" by a small group who fervently Believed in the stock. Any bearish posts were met with a barrage of highly emotional posts. Anyone who was not "of the Faith" was not welcome. When the stocks had been going up and up forever, this attitude was understandable, even if it was wrong. At the exact time when most tech stocks were peaking, discussion of the downside was taboo, on many threads. Today, trying to drive bearish posters off this thread is ludicrous (and still wrong). This attitude will change. I've seen it change, on thread after thread, in the last 12 months. It will change, here. Reality will, sooner or later, intrude.

I'm trying to make this thread useful, by challenging the GroupThink here, that focuses on unimportant things, and ignores the factors that have driven the stock down so far, and will continue to do so.

NTAP at 15 isn't some bad dream you're going to wake up from. This isn't like 1998, where the IMF and Fed put a "fix" in, and stocks rebounded back to new highs in a few months.

I know you "hold in low esteem" anyone who pays attention to PE, P/S, PEG, or any other valuation metric. You never pass up an opportunity to "be contentious" when someone says "good company, overvalued stock". For you, once you've figured out the "good company" part, you're done. That works in a market bubble, and it only works then. And, because you are a stubborn person, you haven't questioned your assumptions, even though they haven't worked for a year now. Ignoring valuation when buying stocks will continue to "not work", going forward. This thread will change, and so will you, eventually. I guess you aren't ready for deprogramming, yet.
