Shorting days are just about finished. American Spirit, are you talking long term or just through this little bit of a short quarter earnings rally? ggg If long term, it will be a long, hot, dry summer for longs. "The summer of your discontent". With volume a pittance of what it is now. As a value investor, my strategy is to buy long term during the dog days of summer. If insiders are reluctant to step up to the plate and buy at that time, I will postpone till October. After all, if they don't want to own their bloody stocks, than why should I? Till that time, I will short into any and all rallies. Shorts still have the upper hand. Time and the overall economy is on our side.
