<<I think you would be amazed at what we could achieve, if we set minds and our nation to it...>> No, I never intended to say we don't have the ability, only that with recent drawdowns of commodity stockpiles at total sale of our strategic defense metals reserves there could be a massive supply / demand imbalance for some time. Environmental regulation against mining would need be reversed. Sentiment against holding metals commodity inventory would also need be reversed. These could well present a danger to our republic that need never have happened. Savings are not, bad be they in inventories of raw materials or dollars.
