BOTH longs and shorts can win today.

That depends on your broker. I bought and sold JNPR both long and short today. The long worked fine, but it took ten minutes for them to execute my sell short order. By that time JNPR had dropped two points and started back up. By the time my cover was executed, the price was above the price the sell short order was executed. I called the broker. They said they would correct the sale, but only to the time commencing 5 minutes after I placed the sell short order. Got to find a new broker. Is anyone out there using a direct trading company?
