This short attempt dies if we take out the swing high at 10:45. That would indicate to me we have a marginal new high coming and I will try again.

A more conservative approach to abandoning the short is to watch for a breakout from this triangle we are in since the open -- use, say, 5min chart. We have two touches on the top and two on the bottom and are now heading up a little -- I won't stand in the way of that breakout. (The top line of the triangle is in the range of 1930-1935 for the next 10 minutes or so.)

Breaking down out of the triangle would be *very* encouraging and we are not far from doing that.
