DJ CSFB Head Trader Says Wed Investors Are Upbeat, Bullish

11 Apr 12:08

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Investors seem upbeat and bullish, Credit Suisse First
Boston Corp. head financial trader Patrick Boyle told CNBC Wednesday.

"I think people are scrambling to buy this morning, a lot of focus on
technology and financials ...," he said, "people expected the futures to be
down this morning, coming in after the Motorola Inc. comments and the fact they
weren't and the fact that we are getting closer on solving this China problem,
I think people are starting to jump in and buying."
Boyle said large institutional customers have been placing orders this week.

He believes investors have already factored in first-quarter earnings
disappointments.
