I e-mailed Randy (The Fool) yesterday and asked him why someone couldn't come in and buy the company for $5.50 a share and pocket the $72.5 million they have. He said:

"The company would not sell itself to others for less than cash value" ($12.28 + whatever the rest of the company is worth).

I believe the only way this company could screw up now is if they squander the money on unprofitable ventures. This could happen. However, I think there are several reasons why it won't.

First, the company has had increasing sales since it was founded. Obviously, someone liked their products. They lost money on the radio stations, while making money on the programming.

Second, now the company has a new business model to work from and the experience of having "failed" before. They were not good at operating radio stations, so they sold them. They are good at providing the programming for children. That is what they are selling now.

I am not predicting a quick surge for the stock, mainly because there probably won't be any more positive news from the company for a while. These turn around companies can take "forever" to get turned-around. With cash of $12.28, though, I'm sure we will not see levels below $5.00/share again. It might pop a bit, but today's volume seems to indicate that the "hot money" has moved on.

Good luck to all and keep posting.
