Hi Scumbria and Thread, speaking of bonuses...

I didn't exactly have the impression 2000 was a particularly strong operational performance year. Hope 2001 is better in this regards, no stumbles.

Intel CEO rakes in bonus chips

WASHINGTON--Intel, the computer chipmaker, said Wednesday that its president and chief executive, Craig Barrett, earned $3.8 million last year.

That was up about 12 percent...

His cash compensation for 2000 was actually 106 percent of the peer group average a result in part, the company said, of its "strong 2000 financial performance."

Intel also said Barrett received $19,500 that was paid to his tax-qualified retirement plan and $378,200 paid to his nonqualified retirement plan, based on the company's 2000 results.
