Aren't there 3 prizes? What about the plane itself and, more importantly, the equipment on board. So far, it looks like the Chinese got that or, at least, the opportunity to examine it closely. So, they haven't come out completely empty handed.

And have they really confirmed our right to the surveillance flights? We've stated that they will continue but I don't think the Chinese have recognized our right to do so.

Still, it's a good thing that we're getting the crew back without apologizing or renouncing our rights to fly the surveillance flights.
