Hi Tanner,

The rumors are false. Lycos remains committed to subscription services, especially with the revenues from advertising diminishing. The only change being considered that could have possibly started this rumor is that the Quote.com brand name will likely be dropped in favor of Lycos Finance, though even this is not set in stone.
