Thanks Ted, that is a good link. It seems that the deal is a lot less relevant than I thought. I still think Borders came out ahead. About eighteen months ago Amazon could have swallowed Borders in an instant, today it is having to beg for kiosk space (presence) in their stores.... But who could have guessed that a well established nationwide bookseller chain had a more secure future than selling living room furniture and pet supplies over the Internet?
