I expect that we'll see good earnings growth rates and upward revisions heading into '02 by Q4. Valuations for many stocks, particularly those viewed as "safe" are still overvalued but most stocks are not. I have not wavered from my belief of more than a year that a value approach will still beat a strictly growth approach, but many dominant, well-managed growth stocks will also do well in a tough period to produce solid earnings.

I do think that many stocks, and, most likely the major market measures, have hit THE BOTTOM. And, I do believe that those who choose wisely and diversify can invest with a very attractive risk/reward opportunity. Traders aren't apt to fare as well, which is always the case.
